In order to minimize the mechanical loss of the excavator immersed in the water, as well as the trouble of cleaning, assembling and repairing afterwards, the following points should be paid attention to:

1. Prevent the hydraulic oil tank from entering water. After entering the water, the oil in the tank will generate a vacuum after cooling, and after reaching a certain value, air will be inhaled. There is a breathing port on the upper part of the oil tank. In some excavators, the breathing port is led to the middle and lower part of the hydraulic oil tank. The mouth can be raised to a position higher than the water surface.

2. Prevent the engine from entering water or sediment. The first is that the water entering the engine is mainly easy to enter the cylinder from the air filter; the other is that it enters the crankcase from the exhaust pipe of the engine. Once water or sediment enters, it needs to be handled by professional technicians.

3. Emergency treatment of electrical parts. Once the excavator falls into the water, immediately pull out the fuse, remove the battery cable, and remove the computer board, and other professionals will handle it.

4. If the excavator rolls over, the oil may enter the cylinder from the supercharger, or enter the cylinder from the opening of the piston ring. In this case, you should ask a professional to deal with it.

Emergency treatment of hydraulic cylinder rod

In the construction of the construction site, if the hydraulic cylinder rod is damaged, smashed or accidentally clicked, the surface of the cylinder rod is damaged, the projecting item is protruding or sunken, the work should be stopped immediately at this time, and it is strictly forbidden to put the cylinder rod into the cylinder, otherwise The oil seal and guide sleeve will be pulled. After the cylinder rod is damaged, if the damage is not serious, use gauze, whetstone or a temporary whetstone to polish off the protruding part, and grind off the water chestnut or burr on the depression, and confirm that it is not higher than the plane. It feels smooth to the touch and can be used temporarily. If there is a slight amount of oil leakage, it is normal. Please send it to the repair shop for repair.
